The Dubble Bubble Blowout EP was released at an odd point in the Sex Mex timeline. We hadn't been around long enough for anybody to give a fuck, but we'd been around long enough to piss off enough people in San Antonio. It was a perfect storm for four songs that were nowhere even close to being serious. Not only that, but it was recorded in one day. It sounds like shit, because it was recorded like shit, and that is what makes it special to me. I've never had as much fun recording anything as I did that day. The demos don't need to be explained.
